My last name is difficult to pronounce. When my husband was in high school his coach called him Shipwreck instead of Shilipetar. #42 is from The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy- The Answer to the Ultimate Question of Life, The Universe, and Everything.

The grade school I went to had skating and bowling as activities in the winter months. We basically had lessons each year. I loved it! I was a rink rat, skating at every open session my parents would take me to, a competitive speed skater (back when it was quads only) and worked at the rink. I reconnected with a favorite pastime when my daughter found skating

I have been a skating and non-skating official for about 4 years. Never wanted to play before this year, got the itch after watching a Tilted Thunder bout. However I have no desire to skate banked track!
